Courage: Xander and Larry's double-date with Carl and Bev turns Hellmouthy at the end.

Understanding: The next day at school, Buffy confronts Xander about not going to the Bronze with the gang.
Affirmation: Cordelia Chase confronts Xander in the Library about the latest batch of rumors to make the rounds of Sunnydale High. Unbeknownst to them both, there are two witnesses to their fight.
Corruption: After overhearing Xander and Cordelia arguing in the Library, Willow decides to take some magical action...for Xander's own good, of course.
Distinction: Xander is at home when Willow's truth spell kicks in. He mistakes it for something else even though he can now no longer lie to himself...or others.
Dissonance: Larry goes with Xander to meet his friends in the student lounge.
